A principal recently told me that some parents don't want their kids "just reading" while at school. He asked what research he could share to show those parents that "just reading" has ACADEMIC benefits. Here it the chart I shared. #DisruptingThinking
1st place in Read to the Final Four 2019! Thank you so much @FinalFour@myONreader@ReadAnnaRead@scottmader1 Cordell and Helena for allowing 36 third graders to have the gift of reading on myOn this year! Reading is the key to success and we have #RisingStars@BLHS!
The Buffalo Lake, Hector & Stewart Fire Departments escorted the BLHS 3rd Graders out of town for their trip to the @usbankstadium for the Reese's Final Four Friday. They will escort them again for the @FinalFour Fan Fest on Monday for their awards ceremony! Go Mustangs!
So proud of the Final Four schools whose students read TONS of minutes! The top four schools were recognized today and the big awards ceremony is Monday! @myONreader
As a former coach, I’m excited about MN hosting the #FinalFour. But as a former teacher, I’m even more excited we’re using this opportunity to help kids read more.
While many are focused on their NCAA bracket, I can’t wait to keep following the Read to the Final Four bracket! 📚
@walkingclassrm Our class has been reading for over 6 months in a competition for NCAA "Read to the Final Four" in Minnesota. We are one of the top 4 schools!
