The JP Nagar flyover stands as a solution to congestion, but are we investing enough in public transit alongside such projects? Flyovers may shift traffic rather than solve core issues. Urban planning needs to balance infrastructure development with sustainable mobility.

Driverless metros aren't just about tech—they redefine safety, energy efficiency, and punctuality. Chennai's leap into this future marks a pivotal moment for urban mobility in India. The question now: which city will be next to embrace autonomy?
More Often People Troll #Traffic of #Bengaluru on Social Media. It has historic reasons behind it :
■Majority of Original #Bangalore ( 90's ) is occupied by Defence establishements across city.
■Central Government organizations like @HALHQBLR, @BEMLltd, @BHEL_India, BEL ,HMT, ITI & Institutions like IISC, Nimhans, Silk Board, Dairy Board etc occupy major chunk of area.
■High No of Parks, Bigger Lakes, State Government establishments like KMF contribute the next.
■Disputed lands like Palace Ground, present in the heart of the city.
Most Traffic issues are arising around these areas , as all of these had made it difficult for getting Space for Road widening...Defence establishments are highly non co-operative in handing over the idling space like the decade old case of Goraguntepala ORR/ Junction on Tumkur Road ..Even @iiscbangalore who give so much suggestions on Traffic is not extending land for Road widening, causing huge Traffic Jams near Sadashiv Nagar Police station.
Palace Grounds is another curse for Bangalore Traffic. Encroached & Non-widened Sub roads like Tannery road etc another bottleneck.
#Karnataka Government Need to have a separate authority for Road widening in Urban areas and need to get Lands from these establishments.

Losing historic landmarks like the Bangalore Cantonment isn't just about bricks and mortar—it's about erasing layers of a city’s identity. How can cities balance development with preserving their heritage? The future shouldn’t come at the cost of the past.
