Over 200 JCLers came to hear talks about Ovid and Feminism, Animal sacrifices in Ancient Rome, Catullus + his girlfriend, and Greek 101.

Book Wrapping returned this year for our first in person at school event since COVID, and we sure weren't stationary! Here are some shots of us wrapping, selling cloth covers, and manning the money. We'll be at the EC Fair next week, see you there!

Also, our social media scavenger hunt starts today! Go to https://t.co/lgGi2sgSnx to play along!

Happy Ides of March everyone! For those going hybrid this week, good luck :-). Make sure your pencils, and brain, are nice and sharpened - not like Caesar's!

You can still donate at https://t.co/yjY29vOe7t until midnight tonight. Help us ring in the 2021 by helping a great organization (and saying Vale to perhaps the worst year :) )!

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our Virtual Food Drive to benefit Rosie’s Place! We've surpassed our initial goal of 500 items for their food pantry and are closing in on our extended 750 item goal. We could not have done this without you!

IO, Saturnalia! Saturnalia historically started today, 12/17, and lasted until the 23rd. It would include lots of feasting, role reversals, gift-giving, and gambling; the inspiration for many Christmas traditions! Enjoy the snow ❄️

Thanks to everyone who came out to our first Nox Ludroum last Friday! Dolos was successfully honored and Inter Nos was full of backstabbing and fun. Only 1.5 weeks until winter break; make sure you get all your assignments done! ☃️

[BLS JCL @BLS_JCL]

RSVP for the first Nox Ludorum at: https://t.co/KhjPYCLkhH, to play some Inter Nos and learn about the god Dolos with fellow JCLers. See you soon!

[BLS JCL @BLS_JCL]

What crewmate are you? (Hint: there are only two right answers)

[BLS JCL @BLS_JCL]

Emergency meeting... don't skip this round! Come to the first Nox Ludorum on Friday, Dec. 11 from 5-6, a new monthly event to honor deities through fun games. This month, we're playing Inter Nos (Among Us) to honor the Greek god of trickery. Bring your best offerings!

Some photos from our second event, BLSJCL Movie "Night"! We watched the 1981 "Clash of the Titans" about Perseus, and despite some tech glitches, we still managed to have a great time. We were glad to see new faces and can't wait for more events to come! 🦃💛💜
