An Epiphany Prayer:
O Lord, you who were manifested to the world at the Magi's visit, manifest yourself to the world today as the king who refuses to use the violence of the world to achieve peace, so that we might be strengthened to do the work of your peaceable kingdom. Amen.
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through Him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 1:20
This line stuck out to me from a pastor I spoke with today: "I think humor has a lot to do with humility. If you're not wiling to laugh, you're probably not childlike."
I’m so happy in Jesus this morning that I’ve decided to forgive the worship team in advance of the service for not leading us in “Christ the Lord is Risen Today” if indeed they commit such a grievance.
