Blue tick handle. Rage bait. Twitter rewards negative takes like these. Don't take bait. Don't engage directly. They make money from your rage, you don't. That's the tweet.
“Walk into an important social event and introduce yourself with a Dalit surname. Observe. Experience…
Then think why you too do this to non-savarn people,” @anuradhaxyz suggests a social experiment to Indian savarns who deny the existence of casteism. Would you participate in a social experiment like this? #casteism #caste #religionandcaste
In a conversation on raising gender equitable boys with @ecfindia a few years ago, someone called the festival of Rakhi problematic. Gender equity has always questioned Kanyadan and Karwachauth. Are we comfortable yet to question Rakshabandhan? Is the subject unnecessary? Or is the discussion important?
“Women are denied many choices. However, in our country, they get the choice to not be the breadwinner. Men don’t enjoy this choice. Will gender equity offer men this choice too or take this choice away from women,” asked a young man in a conversation on patriarchy. Do you find this question fair?

“In fiction and reality, we feel the Hindu savarn is the central figure and everyone else is an “other”. You know why? Because the mic and the platform is with the Hindu savarn,” said @anuradhaxyz in a recent conversation. Who, according to you, holds the mic? Who tells the story?
“Most of the panelists seem to be savarn. If they continue to control the narrative, how will our kids really understand oppression and privilege,” @anuradhaxyz raised.

I would urge people to watch this video. @AJAYshunya has managed to sum up not only the data but also call out our collective dismissal of women in the discourse of employment. Here’s a screenshot from the video.

Spoke about this at a youth gathering. Realise increasingly the importance of a platform that enables civility and meaning in conversations, and goes on to ensure that the future generations don’t grow up hating one another.
I recall this conversation on @BLoudST a couple of years back. The article that this bloud refers to has gone (link archived by HuffPost) but the arguments hold strong still IMHO. What do you think, @Kum_Sambhav, @anuradhaxyz?
