Witnessed an enchanting Sambalpuri dance performance by talented students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, @nitrourkela. Appreciate their passion for dance, music, sports, cultural and other extra curricular activities. It is essential for imparting holistic education, improving mental and psychological health and adding vibrancy to academic pursuits.
Together with Shri @jualoram laid the foundation stone for six projects and inaugurated a Kendriya Vidyalaya at @nitrourkela today to further strengthen the teaching, learning, innovation and skilling environment at the institution.
These projects, including hostels for boys and girls, faculty residences, will boost capacities and make campus life more vibrant in line with NEP.

A patent titled "A Biocompatible And Biodegradable Protein-Based Hydrogel Crosslinked By A Tetrakis-Based Crosslinker And Methods For Making The Same" is granted to a team led by Prof. Devendra Verma from the Department of Biotechnology and Medical Engineering, NIT Rourkela. This invention aims to create a significant advancement in biomedicine and pharmaceuticals fields of study.

Congratulations to Mr. Amit Kumar Yadav, Prof. Sunipa Bhattacharyya and Prof. Ritwik Sarkar from the Department of Ceramic Engineering, NIT Rourkela for receiving a patent grant for "Granule-Shaped Gamma-Alumina Adsorbents for the Mitigation of Excess Fluoride Ions from Groundwater." This newly developed adsorbent will remove excess fluoride ions from drinking water.
