Des incendies touchent les Hautes Fagnes depuis vendredi. Je tiens à saluer le travail remarquable de toutes les équipes mobilisées sur le terrain, venues des quatre coins du pays pour combattre les flammes. Merci également à nos partenaires européens pour l’aide qu’ils nous apportent.

Mes pensées accompagnent toutes les personnes concernées.

Seit Freitag wüten Brände im Hohen Venn. Ich möchte die bemerkenswerte Arbeit aller Einsatzkräfte vor Ort würdigen, die aus allen Teilen des Landes angereist sind, um die Flammen zu bekämpfen. Mein Dank gilt auch unseren europäischen Partnern für die Unterstützung, die sie uns leisten.

Meine Gedanken sind bei allen Betroffenen.

In de Hogen Venen woedt sinds vrijdag een grote brand. Ik wil hulde brengen aan de ongemene inspanningen van alle hulpdiensten ter plaatse, die vanuit alle delen van het land zijn samengekomen om de vlammen te bestrijden. Mijn dank gaat ook uit naar onze Europese partners voor de steun die zij ons bieden.

Mijn gedachten gaan uit naar alle getroffenen.

Since Friday, fires have been raging in the High Fens. I would like to pay tribute to the remarkable work of all the emergency services on the ground, who have travelled from all parts of the country to fight the flames. I would also like to thank our European partners for the support they are providing.

My thoughts are with all those affected.

A necessary action curbing reckless behavior by vessels sailing without proper flag belonging to Russia's shadow fleet, carried out by @BelgiumDefence 🇧🇪 assets in close cooperation with French 🇫🇷 colleagues. The vessel is now diverted to the port of Zeebrugge.

Over the past few hours, our armed forces, with the support of the French Defence, have boarded an oil tanker belonging to the Russian shadow fleet. The vessel is currently being escorted to the port of Zeebrugge, where it will be seized.

Operation Blue Intruder was carried out by a team of exceptionally brave service members. Excellent work.
