The sheer scale of the venom being directed at Celtic and their fans is more than just about football. It is rooted in Scotland's baleful legacy and history of anti-Irish Catholic racism and bigotry.
We were on our knees as a community when Celtic was established in 1888. In 2026 we stand tall.
And the reason we do stand tall is largely because of Celtic, and how the club has provided us with a sense of pride in an identity that is rooted in defiance not compliance.
For the avoidance of doubt, neither the Celtic Fans Collective nor any affiliated groups have been consulted by Celtic FC on a new supporter engagement model.
Without meaningful fan input, any structure the Club introduces will have no credibility from the outset.

⚠️ Pitch inspection
Please be aware Aberdeen FC contacted the SPFL earlier this afternoon to arrange a pitch inspection ahead of this evening’s William Hill Premiership game between Aberdeen and Celtic.
Prolonged rain over the last few weeks has made the pitch heavy. The groundstaff have been working tirelessly to get it ready but there is an area of the surface at the Merkland end that is causing concern.
A referee will inspect the pitch at 4.00pm and we will update supporters as soon as a decision has been made.
