@DOGE_DOD I sent a message to you guys and you responded and I need to know if the problem has been fixed. Is DLA now properly extending the government federal express rates to all DAPA contract holders. The government reimburses us for our shipping and we are not able to get the lowest rates. Therefore the government is vastly overpaying for shipping costing many tens of millions of dollars. Please let me know when this is corrected.

Department of health inside of DOD which runs the hospitals is violating the FAR. It is doing this by mandating hospitals must use prime vendor, or ecat when they can buy products cheaper with the credit card. The bottom line of FAR is the government should always go with the lower price for the comparable product.
DLA radically marks up all vendor products pricing on ECAT making a profit margin for themselves, which they are paid bonuses on. Just ask the people at the hospitals.

DLA is over paying FedEx
Millions of dollars a year because they refuse to recognize DAPA price agreements are contracts. DLA therefore refuses to sign off on the FedEx form extending fed gov rates to vendors. So the vendor has to pay the much higher commercial rates which are then reimbursed by the government clients instead of the lower government rates. The staff at DLA have a perverse incentive to make costs higher as they are receiving bonuses based on mark up.
