@NashvilleResist There were no “groups”, there is one suspect and he’s arrested. It was an altercation. There has been no report of the race of the shooter to my knowledge. You’re making a lot of assumptions, none of which are facts.
@NashvilleResist You’re not hurting the feelings of white supremacists. Just whites. You’re implying that a white supremacist is a common person among whites. It’s the same as when people assume a criminal is a black gang member, you’re assuming black gang members are common. A false stereotype.
@MayorBriley Yesterday, you said that Nashville was "healthy" and could afford 9-15 Billion for your transit plan. Today, one day after we voted it down, you say Nashville has a shortfall and police/firemen can't get a raise. Please explain.
"We?" That's right. I forgot the @nashvillebiz publisher sits on the board of the Nashville Chamber and is an advocate of tax hikes for transit. Wonder if they'll ever admit their COI? #MediaBias https://t.co/MwArLuLm7C
@TelishaCobb @DaveRosenbergTN That’s less than .5% of the yearly budget. Not a big deal. The bigger deal is the real estate giveaways which amount to hundreds of millions. Those all got approved by you Rosenberg.
Bill Freeman, who had been mulling another Nashville mayoral bid, sent the following letter to the Metro Council following last night's blowout loss for transit referendum. Says plan was "too expensive, too limited and simply didn't fix the problem." Also slams @nashchamber
i'll contribute a more accurate headline: "6 reasons why Nashville Voters scored a massive victory by voting down an ineffective plan" This was a Win for all of Nashville |Analysis | 6 reasons why the Nashville transit referendum lost big https://t.co/JCWV95b9RC via @tennessean
THIS @NC5 image is what I'm talking abt. See all that red? The people in red areas r Nashvillians too! They pay taxes. They vote. Past time to be concerned abt them & their needs. Get/move jobs out there & u'll relieve congestion downtown.
Let's get to work. In a short election, the focus has to be who has proven already to bring those attributes to the table with them via their life's actions. Words are meaningless. https://t.co/aZm5RTSTOz
Congratulations to all Nashville candidates, but most importantly to the people of Nashville for getting out to vote! Record numbers were done. Let’s keep it up, and hold our folks accountable to making Nashville a real “It City” for ALL.
