Belvidere North and Applebee's would like to recognize soccer's Cortlyn Hefty as Athlete of the Week. Cortlyn scored 10 goals last week to lead North to 4 wins and a 1st place finish at the Antioch Invite. Cortlyn now has 29 goals on the season. Congrats Cortlyn!

Boys track finished 2nd today at Buffalo Grove. Braeden Brown beat his own school record again in the 400m with a time of 50.05, finishing 1st. The 4x8, 4x1, Braeden Brown in the High Jump, and Nico Bertillino in the 200m all won their events.

North girls soccer won the Antioch Invitational this weekend, defeating Badger (WI) 3-1 Friday; Westosha Central (WI) 3-1 & Antioch 3-1 today, led by Cortlyn Hefty with 6 goals in the tournament.

Belvidere North and Applebee's would like to recognize track's Braeden Brown as Athlete of the Week. On Saturday, Braeden won the high jump and 400m at the Cary-Grove Invite. His time of 50.38 set a new school record and is the 3rd fastest time recorded in the state this spring!

Our kids were playing their best as we won our first regional in 15 years, & tonight we were within 2 points of a 25 win team playing a sectional on their home floor. We lost 57-55 to Kaneland. I am very thankful for the kids I was able to coach & our families for supporting us.
