It seems the Hon'ble Governor cannot see the irony behind his poetic words. Let's make it clear:-

👉Ignoring the plight of rural poor from almost past 2 years is ZAMINDARI
👉 Sitting in the "cozy city palaces" of Delhi, playing favorites in releasing funds is ZAMINDARI
👉 Using brute force through armed officials against people protesting peacefully, demanding their rights, is ZAMINDARI
👉Using Central agencies to suppress dissent, spewing lies and always taking the back door to avoid confrontation is ZAMINDARI

It is good that the Governor is taking his duties seriously and visiting flood-affected areas, but we just have a few questions:

WHERE was this concern when 9 innocent lives were lost in a blast in Egra because they had to take up a hazardous job, since 100 days of work had been stopped due to lack of funding?

WHERE was this concern when three innocent children died in Bankura because the mud wall of their 'kuccha' house collapsed?

WHERE has been your conscience from the past few months when many such lives have been lost due to lack of housing facilities and means of livelihood?

Expressing concern when convenient is not catering to Maa, Mati and Manush, it is to ALWAYS stand tall against all those who try to disrupt, destroy or deprive your people and State.

Today is a dark, sinister day for democracy, a day when @BJP4India revealed their disdain for the people of Bengal, their disregard for the rights of the poor and a complete abandonment of democratic values.

First, they callously withheld crucial funds meant for the poor of Bengal and when our delegation arrived in Delhi, determined to peacefully protest and draw attention to the plight of our people, they were met with brutality – first at Rajghat and then at Krishi Bhavan.

The Delhi Police, acting as the BJP's strong-arm, shamelessly manhandled our representatives who were forcibly removed and whisked away in police vans like common criminals, all because they dared to speak truth to power. Their arrogance knows no bounds and their pride and egotism have blinded them. They have now crossed all limits to repress the voice of Bengal!

The derogatory remarks made by an IPS Officer about the peaceful protest of Shri @abhishekaitc and our other leaders for Bengal's rights at Rajghat are unacceptable.

It is deeply disheartening to witness such a lack of respect for the democratic process and the voices of the people under the @BJP4India-led Central Government.
