We're joining @raiseus_ai as a founding partner.
RAISE US is a nonprofit coalition working to strengthen the American workforce through employer-led action, AI-enabled training, and policy innovation to support the transition to transformative AI.
New Frontier Red Team blog: Phase 2 of Project Fetch, where we test how well Claude can program a robodog.
Opus 4.7, on its own, was ~20x faster than last year's best human team aided by Opus 4.1. (The robodog, alas, still failed to fetch a beach ball.)

Our latest economic research introduces a framework for tracking Claude Code as it scales.
Who is using Claude Code, and what are they using it for? How is the value of tasks changing? And how much does domain expertise shape whether a session succeeds?
https://t.co/IjjwQvrESo
Using our privacy-preserving analysis tool, we analyzed 400K sessions from between October 2025 and April 2026.
We classified each session by its main goal. More than half consist of writing or repairing code; nearly 1 in 5 are operating software.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

We’re launching Claude Corps, a national fellowship program matching people early in their careers with US nonprofits.
We'll teach 1,000 people to use Claude, and pay them to use AI to advance their hosts’ missions.

AI is advancing at a pace our policymaking institutions were never built for—and the gap between the two is becoming the central challenge of the technology. In his latest essay, our CEO Dario Amodei lays out how to close it.
We're launching three new initiatives to support the efforts he outlines.
An Economic Policy Framework: a proposal for how the US government should manage labor market disruption from advanced AI. We’re contributing $200 million to a new fund to sponsor major evaluations of some of these ideas.

New Science Blog: Why has AI advanced faster in coding than in biology?
To agents, bio databases are like cities built before cars—maddening to drive in because they're designed for different traffic.
How do we build infrastructure agents can use?

New Anthropic Science Blog: Making Claude a chemist.
To manipulate a molecule, chemists first need to understand its structure. Their main tool is NMR spectroscopy.
We found Opus 4.7 matches—and on some tasks beats—dedicated NMR software. Read more: https://t.co/1jUvz7wdhV
Our internal data shows Claude is accelerating AI development—a possible path to recursive self-improvement, or AI autonomously building a more capable successor.
It’s happening faster than we thought, and the implications deserve greater attention. https://t.co/OVVPJO7VQx
How well do the security community's techniques hold up against AI-enabled cyberattacks?
We examined 832 malicious accounts and mapped their activity onto a longstanding database of tactics and techniques used by threat actors.
Here's what we learned:https://t.co/fgOqJRh2rx
This Executive Order is an important step in strengthening America’s leadership in AI.
We look forward to collaborating with the White House to support its implementation.

Opus 5.5 is our first model since we called for pacing the frontier. As with previous models, it was tested by external evaluators before release, including METR and Frontier Design.
On our most comprehensive alignment test, it achieves the strongest score to date.
Claude Cowork and chat are merging into one Claude.
Ask a quick question or hand over a report, and Claude takes it from there, even after you close your laptop. If something's unclear, Claude asks—you keep the final say.
Rolling out to Pro and Max over the next few weeks.
You can also now make decks, docs, and designs in your conversation.
Draft the one-pager in Claude Docs, turn it into a deck with Claude Slides, and mock up a matching visual in Claude Design, all from one place.
