It’s official – the contract has been awarded for the East Harbour Transit Hub! The new station located in Toronto’s east end is expected to connect approximately 100,000 daily riders all in one location. This includes those taking Lakeshore East and Stouffville GO train service, and the future Ontario Line subway. Learn more: https://t.co/vjTY3to4eH
While some may only think of it as a transit stop, Union Station is a treasure trove of artifacts associated with the history of Toronto’s waterfront. https://t.co/0YiPTETgOW

PMJT just went off on Bell, saying it was a “garbage decision from a corperation that should know better" to layoff journalists and other workers.
“I’m pretty pissed off about what's just happened” #cdnpoli
Hard to miss these three stories side by side on the @TorontoStar website when Mirko Bibic, president and CEO of Bell Canada since January 2020, received $13.59 million in total compensation last year. That’s up nearly 20 per cent, or $2.45 million. #bellcanada#layoffs
Sending good thoughts to the many good journalists who lost their jobs at CTV today. Journalism and democracy are best served with more and varied voices. This is not good news for anyone.
Journalism seems more precarious today. I feel for all those good, committed journalists who lost their jobs. In an already shrinking industry, more cuts hurt all of us, diminish how Canadians get their information, and reduce the ability to pursue complex stories.
In shock at the incredibly talented and hardworking journalists who were let go at CTV. Journalists many of us looked up to and admired for their coverage but also their guidance and mentorship - this is devastating.
