What if Arthur’s Quay became a home for sustainable waterfront living?

Studio Saol is proud to call Limerick City home. When the local council opened a public dialogue around the planning proposals for Arthur’s Quay, we felt compelled — as did many others — to contribute our perspective for the future of the site.

We found that the proposed options lacked the ambition, foresight, and social purpose needed to create a truly liveable and sustainable urban space for Limerick City’s communities.

With this in mind, we built upon what we viewed as the only viable option, incorporating additional considerations that we believe will help realise the full potential of this important city centre redevelopment project.
