@PollyPorridge I'm 69. 2026 the 1st year of my life no dad or brother involved in coaching or playing at AFL or SANFL. I was AFL woman of year in 03. Am a world champion lax player, & lev 2 footy coach, qualified psychologist & AFLW commentator but couldn't get an interview for AFLW psych job.
@AdelaideUnited Thanks for all of the sporting memories & the friendship. Being part of first reds women's team to make finals. Good luck in the future. We will always cheer for you @IsabelHodgson12
Congratulations to West End State Team forward Beau Thomas @Ceeentrals, winner of the Fos Williams Medal in today's clash with @WAFLOfficial.

@aflwomen So pleased to see Mark involved with women's footy. He has always been the biggest supporter of women with drive, passion and the pursuit of excellence . Backed us playing on Footy Park versus Crows in 2004 when AFLW was only a dream. (Foxtel replay on YouTube Erin 18 )
@Stephanie85WAGY Wow your efforts in helping others is really impressive. Knowing how difficult it is to find scorers fantastic to see the recognition.
If you are around 60 or above and would like a free game of Padel please come join us on Fridays. Great opportunity to play and meet some people. No experience necessary. Thebarton SA. Follow instructions on the photo. You can get something for free & it's great fun.
Dad played in first SANFL Anzac Day match & over years stressed the importance of honouring the day with intense, courageous performance. What an honour to see the trumpeter in stand named after him at Adelaide Oval.Hoping Port play with freedom flair & the strength of mateship.
@dpatrickaldrin@jcperio1 Worth the effort. Would also suggest watching his speech to the Ichan medical students on youtube. Great info on decision making especially when tired or rushed.
@aflwomens@RileyBev Fantastic but there should also be an indigenous team. With a bit of imagination AFLW could have international tournament in a few years. Opportunity to also look at 9 aside game that could be part of 2032 Olympics.
@gowza21 They need to understand how to regroup after the oppo get a few in a row. Too many go into their shells, don't lead, don't take chances as they are scared to make a mistake. Need some personalities willing to be strong, centre of attention & drag others to be bold. You were one.
And in the end only kindness matters. He did such a good job in this role. Funny nerdy but a strength of friendship mirroring what we all should have in our lives. RIP
@PAFC . Every year the family present the Fos Williams medal for the best team man. Today would have been his 104th birthday but his influence on his peers, his players, the club & his family continues to fuel excellence, vision and care. May 2026 be gr8 https://t.co/Hvvhm35W7G
If I was coaching an AFLW team, I'd have been chasing Chinaza Uchendu from Melbourne City ALeague. Perfect prototype for athleticism, decision making and could adapt kicking with a sherrin precision ball.
