Congratulations to Matt Richardson today as he competed at the State XC meet! He finished 55th in class 1A with a time of 17:46.50. Matt became the 3rd Baxter Boys athlete to ever compete at the state meet. We are all so proud of you!

Beautiful weather at the state qualifying meet! Phenomenal work by each athlete! This was a lot of our athletes last race this season and they all worked incredibly hard. Matt Richardson PR’d with a time of 17:26 finishing 6th and punching his ticket to state! Congrats!!

Great work today at conference for the Baxter XC program! Max finished first becoming the Conference Champ! Matthew finished 3rd with a time only 5 seconds off his PR. Zoey finished 5th coming within 2 seconds of her PR. Fantastic work today!

Phenomenal runs today for both boys and girls at Dike! Multiple athletes ran their season best or PR including Matt Richardson who became the 2nd fastest Bolts boy with a time of 17:34. Congratulations to the Bolts XC team!

Amazing run last evening by the entire XC team. Many athletes breaking their PR at this course and some their best ever! Matt Richardson finished 3rd shattering his course PR by over a minute. Zoey Gliem finished 13th with a time of 25:47. Congrats!

First meet of the 2022 season and we have two athletes in the top 10! Matt Richardson with a 6th place medal and Zoey Gliem with a 7th place medal. AND a great team who traversed over a very hilly course!

Outstanding effort by Elie Tuhn as she competes at state to finish out her XC career at Baxter. Elie ran a 20:22 to grab 16th out of 100+ runners. The coaches, many Bolts runners and fans are so incredibly proud of you. Be proud of yourself :)

After a delicious dinner last night, the Baxter Bolts XC team is ready to take on the Iowa Star Conference Meet at Wartburg today!

Three girls were speedy quick as they danced past their PR including Emie T, Zoey G and Elie T as she shatters the Baxter Bolt Girls 5K record with a time of 19:28! Congrats Bolts! The coaches are so proud of you!
