We celebrate any person of Indian origin who does anything in any part of the world. But have very little space in media when retired Judge S Muralidhar headed United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory releases such an important report. It is not about Justice Muralidhar, but about the fact that we care very little about things that really matter.

@KanchanGupta@IndiaToday Great! When the history of these 12 stray years of the country will be written your name certainly will be in the list of top run turncoat chatukaars. What a life achievement 👏🏽👏🏽
Calling every Palestinian in Gaza “Hamas” has normalized every killing, rape, torture and act of destruction. Forgive us, Marwa, Motaz, Montaser,& the dozens of thousands already lost -along with the millions still trapped in this genocide- for being so late, slow, and complicit.
Isn’t it ironic that @JeanDreze has done far more for this country than the Indian prime monster in his 12 years reign of terror and economic mismanagement, propagating communal hatred that he’s celebrating right now.
It takes special talent to be so brazenly shameless like @narendramodi to celebrate history as the worst PM in India’s history and choke on it with a jhalmuri tamasha while maintaining pin drop silence on #neet, sinking economy, ₹’s nosedive vs $, attack on Indian ships by US
12 years of systemic erosion of everything India once stood for. 12 years of unprecedented communal bigotry, 12 years of shocking economic disasters, 12 years of unprecedented corruption, 12 years of international embarrassment, 12 years of sowing seeds of vindictive politics.

With this segment @anjanaomkashyap proves again that she’s the spokesperson for @BJP4India and how dumb she is willing to be on national television. Assume the numbers are right, she still comes up as a stunning dullard who should be barred from using the word “economy” for life.
Now that Gaza lies in ruins—shattered, like a beloved face after a long brutality—Israel moves with a terrible confidence to the next act: The act of leaving every soul there not merely wounded, but permanently disabled. Injured, sick, hungry, homeless, without work, without hope. This is not war’s collateral damage. This is design.
As my friend Gideon Levy writes—and he knows, he knows—this is the prelude to expulsion. Think of it: a society without teachers, without doctors, without social workers, without engineers, without clerks. That is not a society. That is a holding pen. A slow erasure. And when nothing functions—no school, no hospital, no office, no heart—then it becomes ‘easy,’ they tell themselves, to scatter the people to the four corners of the earth. Like seeds from a broken pod, except no soil will take them.
We must name this. Not with rage alone, though rage is honest. But with the cold, clear tears of recognition: they are making life impossible so that departure becomes the only ‘choice.’ And the world watches, adjusts its spectacles, and calls for restraint. Restraint! There is no restraint in a slow drowning.

Actually am quite pleasantly surprised that all these teenagers and their parents were okay to appear in this video. That’s the kind of grit a lot of people haven’t shown. The simple act of speaking up
Vishwaguru, anyone? Only if Modi had time and energy to spare for these unfortunate children instead of gifting toffees to a foreign PM and making reels in foreign capitals. And so much data is missing in the latest NFHS as it will show the reality of 12 years of Modi as PM.
