I think it was easier to take Moss out of a game than Owens, and definitely easier than Hill.
As Owens still needed the guy over the top, but when that happened, he could just run a slant and pick up chunks at a time.
But in fairness, I’m talking about age 30-33 Moss, I didn’t watch him at all in his prime.
This is an absolute fact. Moss made more highlight reel plays, but Owens was the better overall receiver, as he could still beat you, even when you put a safety overtop of him.
#1 issue on this app is people being hypocrites. If Mahomes made this throw, Theo would talk about it for YEARS.
It’s a great throw from Purdy, and it would be a great throw if Mahomes had done it too. Not hard to be consistent.
Sort of hard to beat a guy when he doesn’t even make it to you.
Brady was waiting in the AFC Championship for Manning 13 times, Manning only made it to him 3 times.
This is my favorite Brady criticism.
“Brady sucks because he only made the AFC Championship 13 times in 18 seasons, if he was really great he would’ve made it every year”
Are we just rewriting history now?
Brady’s Patriots led 34–31 in the 2006 AFC Championship before his defense allowed an 80-yard touchdown drive, surrendering the lead with 1:00 left after forcing the Patriots down to 1 timeout.
Imagine Manning’s team lost 38–34 on the road after his defense blows a late lead, and Brady goes on to win his first ring.
Scott would never let anyone forget it.
The QB discourse around Patrick Mahomes is so played out and boring, man. 😭
Mahomes doesn’t have any “peers” in today’s NFL. His peers are already retired.
You can debate whatever you want, but he’s already a Top 2-3 QB of ALL-TIME.
And he’s only chasing #1. 🐐
@BillClog501@ZellzJ@WyattWillWW1 You’re just so full of shit. Brady outplayed Manning in 2006. Their QBR was with 2 points, despite the massive weapons gap.
Also how in the world did the Patriots defense in 2004 carry Brady? Especially compared to the 2015 Broncos
@SamuelLSmith6@mc1243657@pfref@Stathead I don’t need a whole novel. You’d have to write a whole novel on why his 13 PS losses matter more than his other 280 starts where everyone calls him the greatest “RS QB Ever”
@ZellzJ@WyattWillWW1 @mc1243657 Peyton’s best overall teams Off, Def, STs (2005, 2012) didn’t make it to Brady either. The defense won it for him in 2015 - much like NE’s won it for Brady in 2004 - but Peyton’s D was 32nd & 19th in Points/Drive allowed, 25th & 15th in DVOA in 2006/2013.
Check the comments. The same Chiefs fans who were praising the first graphic that went viral, are now saying this graphic (which is far more important) is useless
Sorry Chiefs fans, this is obviously a massive accomplishment, despite your whining.
Especially considering Allen is also an elite passer, with probably the best arm this century.
Sunday Josh Allen had his 23rd game with multiple rushing touchdowns (including playoffs).
That passed Marshall Faulk and tied Eric Dickerson.
He's a Hall of Fame back.
The QB sneak obsession from Chiefs fans is mostly a distraction from the fact that Josh Allen has just been better than Mahomes since 2023.
Even if you gave all of Allen’s QB sneak TDs to Cook, Allen would still have had a higher EPA/play than Mahomes in 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 so far.
"If I'm Josh Allen, every 1 yard touchdown I score, I'm buying James Cook a watch. James Cook at the end of the year should have 10 Rolexes."
@getnickwright wonders if James Cook is fed up with Josh Allen taking his touchdowns
