@henningsanden if your HP is a separate mesh entirely, i would consider projecting it onto a subdivided LP mesh so youβre working with a clean setup for baking
@henningsanden assuming your LP is a lower subdivision of your HP mesh:
in zbrush, create a layer on your subtool where you partially open the mouth. export both the HP and LP with this layer activated for baking. once finished, reexport the LP with the layer turned off.

@TheCartelDel i have a remote job which i absolutely love, but i think it runs well due to the fact weβre mostly seniors here. i do worry about the negative impact remote work will have on juniors. so much of what i learned early on was passively through working alongside others in-house
@SmallpolyArt@chrisradsby deleted my last tweet, felt a little too combative, i think weβre essentially on the same page here, itβs the concept artist background thing i take issue with here, nothing else.
@SmallpolyArt@chrisradsby then the problem is still a bad art director, not an issue with being from a 2D background, which is my main issue with OPβs tweet
@SmallpolyArt@chrisradsby the original tweet is about concept artists becoming art directors. sounds like your issue is simply with bad art directors.
a good art director knows what they donβt know and listens to the experts, as is the case with any good developer. nothing to do with 2D/3D background
