Wanted: Husband/Handyman is an endearing tale of Grace and Tim, two people brought together out of necessity; Grace’s need for some help after her husband dies, and Tim’s need for employment.

I read an excellent story by my good friend, Nick Franck called Parisian Borders recently and had this to say about it. Parisian Borders is a compelling story of a boy and his family trying to escape the confines of dystopian Paris on their way to a better future.

With plenty of tension surrounding the plot, Nick pulls the reader along with the characters as they face ever-mounting odds in their attempted exodus. I personally enjoyed how the author obliges the reader to get in touch with the characters in the story, making it feel as

I was particularly impressed with his ability to accent his story with light brush strokes of back story without relying too heavily on it to form his story. A truly enjoyable read.

Phil’s Good Ol Days is quite an entertaining story of a future dystopian society plagued by the most unlikely of threats. Bart captures the tension and angst of the main character perfectly, against a backdrop of a world infested by the equivalent of would be land sharks.
