Pleasure Beach Resort has just released this CGI video to show the mammoth scale of its new ride, Aviktas 😲

Set to open next year, the giant spinning pendulum ride swings 120 degrees and will seat 40 riders who face outwards with their legs dangling.

The 138ft gyro ride will be the ‘tallest of its kind’ in the UK.

One of the UK’s most iconic rollercoasters, The Big One @Pleasure_Beach opened 31 years ago on this very day, 28th May 1994🤩

These photos were taken in 2010, the final year that this train styling was seen on the Big One before they got the Union Jack branding for 2011 onwards.

The Big One has completely dropped the Pepsi Max theming with the wraparound of the tunnel being replaced this week.

It looks pretty smart! Thoughts?

It’s wonderful to see Grand National getting some love with a fresh coat of paint! Hopefully we’ll see this continue around the rest of the ride ahead of its reopening at some point in the near future 🤩

The Big One is riding great this year 😍 There’s nothing quite like dropping down over 200ft whilst looking out at the ocean!

This time next year, @Pleasure_Beach will be home to two of the best flat rides in the country. A S&S Shot Tower with a launch pressure of 105 PSI and one of the worlds tallest and fastest Intamin Gyro Swings.
