It’s always scary when a fire alarm goes off at a school! No kids in school at Pawnee Elementary when the alarm went off, & no smell of smoke or flames visible. Bellevue Fire Department checked it out just in case. No signs of a fire. Back to normal soon! #bpd

The OPD held an amnesty day event on 8/6/2022. Citizens dropped off fireworks, ammunition, and guns, no questions asked. The following items were turned in:
44 handguns
50 long guns
24 pellet/BB guns
2 starter pistols
> 1000 lbs of ammunition
>1000 lbs of fireworks
