God values all of us, whether we are poor or rich. When we help the poor, we honor both the Creator and His creation. God accepts our help as if we had offered it directly to Him.
Nothing material can compensate for the loss of eternal life. Jesus’ disciples are not to use their lives on earth merely to please themselves; they should spend their lives serving God and others.
Pursue peace and holiness with intention. These two qualities shape your witness and deepen your walk with God. When you choose peace and live set apart for Him, your life reflects His presence in a divided world.
When life gets hard, don’t fake happiness—anchor hope beyond the moment, let yourself endure without rushing it, and keep talking to God through it. Try one short prayer a day during a hard season.
Loving our enemies means acting in their best interests. We can pray for them, and we can think of ways to help them. Jesus loves the whole world, even though the world is in rebellion against God. Jesus asks us to follow His example by loving our enemies.
A reminder that true peace isn’t found in control or comfort but in surrender to God’s care. When anxiety or uncertainty threatens your rest, you can echo David’s confidence when lying down in faith, knowing that God watches over you.
