We had a lovely morning at Figgate Park for our family picnic! We fed the ducks, played at the park, enjoyed our picnic and had fun with the parachute. Thank you to all of our families who were able to join us 🌞

We had a fantastic day out at Deep Sea World today! We saw lots of different sea creatures in the aquarium and then went down stairs into the shark tunnel under the water! We also loved watching the seals swimming outside 🦈🐠🦭

We had a fantastic ESB sports day this afternoon - despite the typical Scottish weather! Everyone had a go at the sack race, welly throw, egg and spoon race, and the obstacle course. We all enjoyed an ice lolly as well! Special thank you to our lovely P7 helpers @MrArchibaldbps

We experimented with different tastes today, and used our communication boards to say if we liked them or not. Pineapple and peach were popular but we were not so keen on the kiwi! 🍍🥝

This week we are reading 'The Tiny Seed' by Eric Carle and learning about how seeds grow. We have planted some beans and some tomato seeds and we are creating some flower art using sunflower seeds! 🌱🌺🌻

We used dandelions for our craft activity today - making holes in cardboard and pushing the stems through to develop our fine motor skills 🌼

We picked some fresh mint from our playground today and used it to make a refreshing drink with lime juice and apple juice! 🥤

We loved our outdoor learning this afternoon! We mixed some powder and water and used big brushes and rollers to paint outside in the sun 🌞

We went on a shopping trip to Asda today to buy ingredients for Friday's food festival. We are making two desserts, one Scottish and one Polish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇵🇱

We had an amazing theatre experience in Panda's this morning! We loved the performance of 'Poggle and Me' - especially joining in with the music, dancing, movement, bubbles and lots of other sensory fun! @tiss_scotland
