@JordanSeaton_ Praying for you young man. Remember Pr 3:5-6 — “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths.” It’s a blessing to have such great schools that want you!
@laurencowling@BrooksAustinBA The CFP cmte was disingenuous saying it was the Florida loss that hurt Texas not the overall record coming off the Ohio State game. Otherwise, how does Miami get ahead of UT? Miami had one elite win (ND) and two unranked losses. Texas had three elite wins and one unranked loss.
@espn@PatMcAfeeShow@CollegeGameDay CGD is my favorite show, and I like the longer format and the energy Pat brings. That said, I’m tired of watching him parade around with his shirt off. We don’t need quite as many antics. His football commentary and analysis is what I really want to hear.
@RickWarren How great is that? Makes me think of the expression, “Man can count the number of seeds in a watermelon; only God can count the number watermelons in a seed.” What a miracle to see what all God has done, and He’s not finished yet.
It sure is a roller coaster. It’s high one minute and low the next. I’m happy for your joy and sorry for your pain, Pastor Rick. I’ve followed you from afar since Saddleback met in schools.
@RickWarren People have rushed to pounce on Rick Warren. He was using a metaphor — a literary device — and not employing biblical interpretation. I seriously doubt he was saying the thief on the right literally represents the Rep. Party and the thief on the left represents the Dem. Party.
@BethMooreLPM
Beth, the Lord just put on my heart to pray for your health and well being. I tell you that not because I am a great prayer warrior (I’m not) but to encourage you that the Lord is working on your behalf.
@mccaffreyr3 We weren’t ready for this war but rose to the occasion. I’m deeply concerned we will not ready for the next war absent a return to a 5% GDP military spend. In the next war, there won’t be time to prepare. Must adhere to motto “Dig your well before you’re thirsty.”
