Being from Dharwad, I’m super happy for the Big Mishra group. They gauged the market and grew so well. While I have only tried their phede, I should pay a visit and try their food out sometime 😬
Six years is not just a tenure. It is a journey filled with countless memories, struggles, victories and relationships that last a lifetime.I had the privilege of serving in @Tejasvi_Surya 's team as National Secretary of BJYM. During these years, I witnessed his energy, dedication and commitment to every karyakarta from very close quarters. There is one incident I can never forget. When the Punjab Police arrested me and I was brought back from Kurukshetra, Tejasvi ji came to meet me at my home the very next day. While he was sitting with me, news flashed that the Punjab Government had issued a fresh warrant against me and that the police were coming to arrest me again. Kejriwal wanted me arrested at any cost because his first attempt had already caused him massive public embarrassment.Tejasvi ji immediately told me, “You are coming to Bengaluru with me.”He booked my ticket, personally took me to Bengaluru and made every arrangement for me there until the court granted me protection from arrest. At a time when everything was uncertain and the Punjab Police could have arrived again at any moment, he did not leave me alone. He stood firmly beside me and ensured that I had all the support I needed.Political positions and tenures eventually come to an end, but you never forget the people who stood with you during the most difficult moments of your life.Tejasvi ji, you may have completed your six year tenure as National President of BJYM, but the relationships you built and the impact you created will remain forever.Wishing you even greater responsibilities and success in the journey ahead.

Students want solutions, not politics.
The PM Modi Government is keen to deliver them through three priorities: Justice. Protection. Reform.
* Justice : CBI investigation, FIRs - immediate arrests.
* Protection : Re-NEET conducted in record time, ensuring no student lost an academic year.
* Reform : Moving towards Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and constituting a high-powered committee for end-to-end examination reforms.
The NDA Government introduced the Anti Malpractice law and UPA failed to introduce and is now further strengthening it.
Watch.
There are two political models in India.
One is PM Modi's: Hope and Reform.
The other is the Opposition's: Cynicism and Anarchism
Whenever a crisis has emerged, PM Modi has tried to turn it into an opportunity for systemic reform.
The NEET paper leak is a crisis, and the govt will ensure this crisis is turned into an opportunity to reform the education system in the country.
CM Shri @DKShivakumar Sir, listen to Lalbagh's walkers, they have rejected your unscientific Tunnel Road project and five-storey commercial complex.
When the people have spoken so clearly and IISc calling it a disaster for Bengaluru, why is the Congress Government refusing to listen?
Don't turn Bengaluru's pride into another construction site.
Just leave it as it is.

🚶 BENGALURU'S FOOTPATHS ARE GETTING THEIR SPACE BACK
From July 1–10, the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) is running a 'Safe Footpath Campaign' across 1,000 km of road network — clearing encroachments from footpaths in all five city corporations.
📊 WHY THIS MATTERS
30% of every 1,000 road accident deaths in Bengaluru are pedestrians. The Supreme Court has been clear: walking on a footpath safely is a fundamental right, not a privilege.
🚫 WHAT'S BEING CLEARED
➡Illegal parking on footpaths (vehicles will be towed)
➡Name boards, chairs, tables, and kiosks blocking pedestrian paths
➡Vendors and shops spilling onto walkways
✅ HOW IT'S BEING DONE
➡Notices will be issued before any action — not a sudden crackdown
➡Action will follow the Street Vendors' Protection Act and SC guidelines
➡Municipal officers, police, and clearance teams will coordinate
➡Damaged slabs and kerbs will be repaired alongside clearance
It follows the #1KmChallenge encouraging people to walk short distances instead of driving — Bengaluru is trying to become more walkable, one footpath at a time.
🗣️ WE NEED YOUR EYES ON THE GROUND
Let's make Bengaluru's footpaths walkable again — together.

#WATCH | Bengaluru, Karnataka | BJP MP Tejasvi Surya says, "The Central Government has sanctioned 4,500 electric buses for Bengaluru. However, the State Government has not given the cabinet approval necessary for the deployment of these 4,500 buses...For this government, which has money and resources for VIP projects, such as 1,300-kilometre tunnel roads, 2-kilometre tunnel roads exclusively for cars, public transport and its users are treated as second-class citizens. For them, the person who travels by metro is not a priority. The woman who travels daily by BMTC bus is not a priority. The pedestrian who needs a skywalk, footpath, or proper walkway is not a priority. This is a VIP government that comes up with white-elephant projects so that large kickbacks can be taken, nothing else..."

Hon'ble MP Shri @Tejasvi_Surya was among the top performers in MPLADS utilisation during the previous Lok Sabha term, reflecting his commitment to developmental works across Bengaluru South.
The same commitment continues in the current term, with several works already recommended and underway. Updation of details of such works on the dashboard reffered to below is not controlled by the MPs Office and therefore any delay in updation cannot be attributed to the MPs Office.
Like the previous term, we remain committed to ensuring effective utilisation of MPLADS funds for the benefit of the citizens.
Every morning, lakhs wait at BMTC stops, unsure if they’ll get space.
Students miss classes. Workers arrive exhausted. Parents lose time with their children.
No digital tracking. No real-time updates. No certainty if the bus will arrive in 5 minutes or 30.
BMTC is already operating with nearly 50% fewer buses than the city needs, while commuters continue to bear the burden of poor last-mile connectivity and zero integration between mobility services.
For them, 4,500 new buses mean hope.
The Centre has sanctioned them. The tender is done. Yet, six months later, Cabinet approval is still pending.
Each day of delay adds to people’s hardship.
Please clear this proposal immediately. Bengaluru has waited long enough.

The Congress party could have chosen any other day for its rally at Palace Grounds. Instead, it chose the very day thousands of students are appearing for NEET.
As massive traffic disruptions choked Bengaluru, many students were delayed, some reaching exam centres in panic and having to plead with authorities to be allowed inside.
Thankfully, examination authorities accommodated them and provided compensatory time.
For weeks, Rahul Gandhi has been shedding crocodile tears over students and examinations.
Had his concern been genuine, his party would have avoided holding a mega political rally in the heart of the city at the exact time of one of India’s most important entrance exams.
Students deserve sensitivity, not political theatrics. Concern for students cannot be a slogan in Delhi and an inconvenience in Bengaluru.
