Okay @JoshuaBarzon, it's your turn. Help me get some feedback on which logo i should go with. These are the two final ideas for my new logo—LiTTLE FLOCK 🐑 😎.
What yall think? And which one?
Notice how Leighton @Soteriology101 completely bypasses the biblically consistent category of the "heart" by trying to turn a deeply moral issue into a raw physical or mental handicap.
🚩 No one denies a sinner can produce "filthy-rags" and "Lord Lord lip-service" but only Provisionism teaches these things are pleasing enough to God while the heart is far off. #BypassTheology
From the perspective of God as our interactive King, Savior, and Judge, human beings possess all the natural faculties, minds, and tools necessary to understand and choose the gospel.
The problem is never that God is holding back a well-meaning person who secretly wants to be saved.
Rather, because of our inherited fallen nature, sinners are morally hostile from the heart. They could choose the gospel... if they wanted to... but they freely choose to use their faculties to resist and hate the things of God because they love their rebellion.
❓️To answer Leighton's trick question: a person cannot choose something they hate "from the heart", because choices naturally flow from what the heart desires.
By phrasing this as a vague "inability" without any distinction, opponents, like Leighton, try to make it look like God punishes people for lacking human tools rather than holding them responsible for their willful, hard-hearted rebellion against their King.
Irresistible grace is not God bypassing a "far off" heart to force an unwilling mind; it is the interactive Savior mercifully renewing the hostile heart so that it finally sees Jesus as the ultimate treasure and freely, joyfully chooses to follow Him.
@GavinNewsom There are over 4,000 SpaceX employees that will become millionaires as a result of this.
Your state is one of the most unaffordable and has some of the worst wealth inequality in the nation.
The system isn’t rigged. You’re just a manipulative idiot.
Provisionism/ anti-non-Calvinism or whatever you call it is fundamentally demonic, not Christian in its perspective.
We gotta stop being nice about it.
Truth matters.
This is the foundational mindset of every Anti-Outeracting view.
They cannot accept or understand God's outeractions as the Transcendent Creator and Sustainer of all living, moving, and being at all moments because they cannot accept that man is on a level of existence less than "the most high" themselves.
They create the illusion that man is on the same "most high" level alongside God by negating the outeracting God through mocking his actions as "Meticulous Divine Determinism" so that the interactive level is pictured as "the most high" just like Lucifer assumed.
By negating God's outer acting level they place God's interactions as the "most high" and since man is interacting alongside him then this negation places man, or themselves, on the same "most high" level alongside him.
Here's the key take away:
"God is the supreme Transcendent Creator who spoke reality into being out of absolutely nothing by His own omnipotence.
He knows all things because He is the ultimate, continuous source behind everything that lives, moves, and comes into being."
@Soteriology101 sets up a complete false dichotomy by splitting God's knowledge away from His role as Creator.
🚩 He claims we must choose between a God who is "creative" enough to passively discover a timeline that exists outside of Himself, or a weak God who can only know what came into existance by his power.
By making this argument, he is trying to trick people into accepting a worldview where a complex history co-exists with God on an eternal, transcendent level, completely separate from His active power.
As faithful readers of Genesis, we know that Scripture rejects both options.
God does not gain knowledge from an external source or stumble across facts from a timeline that "just exists."
👑 He is the supreme Transcendent Creator who spoke reality into being out of absolutely nothing by His own omnipotence.
He knows all things because He is the ultimate, continuous source behind everything that lives, moves, and comes into being.
Leighton’s trap falls apart because it forces a human timeline to become an eternal reality alongside God, stripping the Creator of His unique, absolute supremacy over existence.
Either God alone eternally existed before the foundation of the world, or God + knowledge source eternally existed.
To say "God alone" is not the weaker position... to say God is among other powers is the weaker view.
@SoteriologyA1@thaBr0die@ReformedCaio Provisionist/non-calvinist will call foul as soon as it's their turn to be pressed on consistency.
Whether its Trump almost being shot, the eternal fate of a miscarriage baby or a young girl in a hospital—claiming "this isnt the time or place" doesn't exempt you from critique.
@SoteriologyA1 Dont relent.
Provisionist/non-calvinist have used every opportunity, even often utilizing the rhetoric of unbelievers whose presuppositions are worlds apart from their own to decry Calvinism without sensitivity or respect.
And now they demand it from you?
—No.
Under the system of Provisionism, the scope of the atonement is never limited to specific individuals; rather, it is a universal reality where Jesus has already neutralized the penalty of the 10 Commandments for every "man, woman, boy, and girl" without distinction.
This means that every person is born into a "Grace Gap"... a state of legal neutrality where their sin-debt is already off the books.
🚨 However, this creates the ultimate Incognito Information Hazard:
If the Law no longer has the power to condemn because Jesus paid it all for everyone, then the only way a person can end up in Hell is by violating the "New Commandment" to believe.
This leaves those who die... without ever hearing the "hazard info" with a literal "perfect excuse" at the judgment.
When they stand before the Judge, God cannot punish them for their sins (which are already paid for), and He cannot punish them for "rejecting the truth" (which they never heard).
In this system, the unreached world is effectively "already saved" by default.
🤔 This forces us to ask: if Provisionism is true, isn't the Great Commission actually an act of extreme liability? By providing the "information hazard" of choice, we are removing people from the safety of the Grace Gap and placing them into a high-stakes performance test where their own "Will" becomes the final judge.
If ignorance is the only thing keeping them safe, why ruin it by telling them?
🚨 “Faith Before Regeneration” Is Just Dead Faith Revisioned:
We agree with the biblical category of Dead Faith preceding regeneration: Scripture shows lots of unregenerate willings “free from God’s internal grace”... ranging from hostile rebellion, to neutrality, to religious motions like “Lord, Lord” and lip-service while the heart is far off.
What that category is called in the Bible:
Outwardly “Godward” actions from a heart still corrupt are labeled hypocrisy, lip-service, dead faith, filthy rags, and vanity... not “pleasing faith.”
The real disagreement:
Anti-Calvinists treat these “free-from-internal-grace” willings (mere correct choice at the moment) as pleasing enough for God to respond with regeneration.
The Consistent View denies Scripture ever calls dead faith “saving faith” or presents it as the trigger for the new heart.
Why their slogan collapses:
Leighton’s line... “Just because someone has a corrupt heart doesn’t mean he can’t confess it and ask for a new one”... forces a dilemma:
🚩 If the confession comes from the corrupt heart, it’s hypocrisy/dead faith (real, common, and never tricks God).
If it comes from a non-corrupt heart, then internal grace has already changed the heart... so their premise is gone.
Bottom line:
Yes, a kind of “faith before regeneration” exists... as dead faith (lips honoring while the heart is far).
Anti-Calvinism is built on upgrading that condemned category into God-pleasing, saving faith, even while the heart remains fully corrupt.
#Calvinism vs #DeadFaithTheology
If God possessed perfect foreknowledge that placing the Tree and giving the command would result in Adam’s sin, then God’s choice to proceed made the Fall certain.
By orchestrating the exact conditions He 100% knew would lead to disobedience, God effectively determined the outcome.
Your view shares a Deistic framework with the atheist: both view the universe as a self-contained system running on its own power.
You simply place God one step before the "big bang," while the atheist removes Him entirely. Both reject the biblical reality of God as the active Sustainer who works all things according to His will.
It is no surprise that the natural mind... whether Provisionist or atheist... rejects divine sovereignty in favor of human autonomy.
