Welcome to the official $BP Treasury account.

If you’re new to Barking Puppy, here’s how our treasury works:

BP is a community-driven fan token inspired by Kevin Gill @BarkingPuppy8 and the Gill family’s connection to the $GME and $AMC communities.

Our treasury is funded by trading fees generated by the token.

Treasury decisions are made by a community-elected, fully doxxed 7-member governance board using a multi-signature wallet, ensuring no single person controls the funds. The treasury governance structure was conceived by @BeTheHoss, who also serves as a member of the governance board.

The treasury is public and verifiable on-chain, with transparent governance and accountability to the community.

Treasury funds have been used to buy back BP, accumulate tokenized GameStop and AMC, and support donations to animal shelters helping our community make a real-world impact while continuing to build the project.

This account will share treasury updates, governance activity, charitable initiatives, and full transparency as we continue to grow together.

Barking Puppy Governance Board

An Open Letter to the $BP Community and Crypto Twitter

Barking Puppy began as a fair-launch Solana meme coin with no team allocation and no pre-mine. Since January 2026, community members have elected a governance board, established a treasury, placed its funds under a seven-signature multisig wallet and produced more memes than we can count.

Matthew Goldby of @BeTheHoss , who is also on the governance board, asked us to write an open letter. I volunteered to put our shared ambition into words because I believe online communities can build something lasting and deserve better than KOL hype and rug pulls.

Many of us watched $GME and $AMC investors find one another and use shared research to challenge some of the largest institutions in finance. At the time, I could not afford to take part, so I watched from the sidelines while friends joined the movement.

Those retail investors showed what individuals can achieve when they organise around a common belief. Members of $BP share that underdog spirit and the desire to take an active role in what they own.

The Governance Board has used treasury funds to acquire tokenized $GME and $AMC, reflecting the community’s long-term convictions in public markets. If these investments earn returns, we can reinvest them and fund the next idea worth backing. Through the treasury, the community can pursue opportunities that some members could not access alone.

As many will have seen by now, Kevin Gill ( @BarkingPuppy8 ) has interacted with the $BP community, shared its memes and shown support for the mission.
