The #Saints are formed by the Beatitudes: poor, meek, merciful, hungering and thirsting for justice, seeking peace. They are “filled with God” and incapable of remaining indifferent to the needs of their neighbour. They bear witness to paths of light that we too can trod.
Going to be a super fun, interactive session on the intersection of clinical care, community involvement, and advocacy!
Hope you can make it!
(Also the @Aptaofma is working on some great events for those of you coming to visit!)
I've been off Twitter but wanted to come back to share that I'll be presenting at @APTAcsm in Boston next year!
Title: "Healthy Places for All Ages: Physical Therapists' Role in Creating Active, Age-Friendly Communities"
My biggest pet peeve in the fitness industry:
Men telling women to not train a certain way because they’ll get bulky or look like a man.
Like bro, YOU have been training for YEARS and you still ARE NOT bulky.
So why should that be a woman’s concern?
@FuckCarsReddit What if I told you they built one of these 13 miles from downtown Boston? Along a well connected bike path, across the street from a grocery store and close to transit no less!
It took almost 2hrs to get to the game yesterday I live 15 minutes away Boston traffic was so bad I’m still traumatized and felt the need to tweet this lol
Spend a cozy winter evening with my yearning about those most irritable of cycling joints: your knees!
I’ll be hosting a virtual event covering everything from sharing to basic exercises, plus dad jokes!

The older towns usually have nice downtown areas and street design amenable to walking and biking. New burns built after 1960ish are all strip malls, highways and cul de sacs.
Think Melrose vs Wilmington (Mass)
I’m living in a suburb this year for the first time in my life (and probably the last). Are all suburbs terrible? Two prompts: (1) Name me a good suburb, and (2) use the poll to let me know if you grew up in a suburb/small town (or a core city), and where you live now.
@PeterLeeDPT I’ve been fluent in English my whole life and this still happens to me lol. Just recently I was thinking about the word gauche and how I have never said it out loud.
