Future research should consider the roles that #parental and #family demographics (e.g., socioeconomic status, parents’ educational background, parental occupation) play in students’ early and sustained interest in #STEM.

More encouragement for Black boys to #play is needed. This is especially true today when it appears that #Blackboys are not allowed to just be kids, but rather are encouraged to grow up and be #men.
