22 days of JKVTWA’s strike is 22 days too many! The J&K Government must intervene NOW, open dialogue, and deliver a time-bound resolution. Enough delays. Act now, resolve the issue, and deliver justice! @OmarAbdullah@sakinaitoo@nasirsogami@JKVTWA#JusticeForWorkers#JKVTWA
J&K’s Vocational Trainers have been protesting for 21 days, demanding justice and the fulfilment of their demands.
I appeal to CM Jnb @OmarAbdullah and Education Minister Mohtrma @sakinaitoo to intervene in the matter and resolve their grievances at the earliest.
"Lamhon Ne Khata Ki Thi, Sadiyon Ne Saza Payi."
لمحوں نے خطا کی تھی، صدیوں نے سزا پائی
An administrative Experiment to place Vocational Trainers under private companies, in clear violation of the order issued by the then MHRD (now MoE), has turned into 11 years of exploitation, uncertainty and suffering. We gave 11 precious years of our youth to the School Education Department, built vocational education into a successful programme across J&K and delivered remarkable results. Yet, we remain deprived of job security, dignity, recognition & the benefits we rightfully deserve.
The cost of this injustice has been heartbreaking. We lost our colleague, Bashir Ahmad, to a heart attack amid our ongoing struggle, leaving behind his wife, three children, an elderly mother & a sister, with an uncertain future.
How much more must we sacrifice to prove our worth?
The Directors of School Education & Chief Education Officers have already submitted their recommendations supporting the removal of private companies. What, then, is preventing the Government from implementing these recommendations?
A wrong decision taken by the previous government must not become a permanent punishment for an entire generation. We voted for the present government with the hope that historical injustices would be corrected, not continued.
Today marks the 20th consecutive day of our peaceful protest, yet 2,187 Vocational Trainers continue to wait for justice.
We appeal to Hon'ble CM @OmarAbdullah and Education Minister @sakinaitoo to intervene personally, implement the recommendations of the Directors & CEOs, abolish the exploitative #VTP system and provide a dignified Job Policy for Vocational Trainers.
We are not asking for charity. We are asking for justice for 11 years of dedicated service.
Let the mistake of yesterday not destroy the future of tomorrow.

Respected CM @Omar_Abdullah Sahib & Education Minister @SakinaItoo Ji,
As our peaceful protest crosses Day 21, thousands of highly qualified Vocational Trainers are sitting on the streets of Srinagar, desperate for justice. We have given nearly a decade of our youth to building the future of J&K’s students, but our own lives are trapped in the uncertainty of private outsourcing.
With heavy hearts but deep hope in your leadership, we pray for your urgent, empathetic intervention to fulfill our genuine demands:
1️⃣ Removal of private VTP companies (middlemen)
2️⃣ Implementation of Director & CEO orders
3️⃣ A secure, long-term Job Policy
Our families are suffering, and our careers are on the line. Please end this exploitation, protect our dignity, and save our futures. 🙏✨

weak administrative head corrupts or disables the entire efficiency of the department, as subordinates mirror the leader's flawed execution. He who hesitates to execute a bad decision is still better than he who cannot make any decision at all.
J&K Deputy CM @Surinderch55 backs the Congress and CJP protest in Delhi, calling for the Chief Election Commissioner’s resignation. Speaking to Gulistan News, he also urged the Supreme Court to intervene and resolve the issue.

Dear @himantabiswa, Starlink is still waiting for approval in India. Please show the same energy for the TMPs MoU: no rush, no nod, no clearance. Assam's youth deserve skilling done right, not signed in a hurry. Stop TMPs vagary against VTs. #Assam#SkillEducation#NSQF
India is moving away from linear extraction towards a circular economy to unlock massive Gross Domestic Product (GDP) savings.
With e-waste and lithium-ion demand surging
Here are the hurdles and solutions:
𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁
Transitioning from linear extraction and imports to a circular economy targeting 11 percent Gross Domestic Product (GDP) cost savings by 2030.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮
E-waste is projected at 14 million tonnes by 2030 with lithium-ion demand scaling to 248 Gigawatt hours (GWh) by 2035.
𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗸𝘀
Heavy dependence on unsafe informal networks and virgin materials remaining cheaper than recycled alternatives stifle growth, with weak support for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
Policy pushes include Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) frameworks and a Rs 1500 crore critical minerals recycling incentive scheme.
𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱
Shift focus from pure waste management to ecodesign, boost demand via public procurement of recycled goods, and formalize informal recycling networks.
