@SpeechUnion@freddiesayers “Speaking ill of the dead” is doing a lot of heavy lifting here - what ghoulish things to wish on someone, and an employee expressing such opinions publicly should be held responsible for their comments, including termination.
“Bastiat proves beyond all doubt that the proper function of government is to protect the lives, liberty, and property of its citizens, but not to provide for them.”
“For in order to provide for some, first it must take from others, becoming the mechanism for legalized plunder.”
@duolingo El dice que “Get rid of Eddy’s annoying voice in the Eddy Hard Mode ejercicios, por favor!”. At least that’s what I think he was saying. Gracias
@StephenKing If you were decent, you would say something about this being a horrible, tragic event; not a way to solve indifferences; “sorry” to his beautiful daughters and wife; or say nothing. Why be awful? Is it worth it?
If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.
