We won the bid and completed all procurement requirements. We have been on stand by for award to execute.

I understand @arewa_acf & #NorthernGovernors are meeting today. Top on their priority list is insecurity, energy and transport. I hope they will appreciate that, linking economic hubs and markets across areas in the best avenue to uniting the region. Transit Oriented Development!

I had a detailed read of the MAP agenda, and I think there is an urgent need to critically appraise the virtuosity benefit of leveraging the MAP agenda with optimised mixed mode regional rail service. This is essential in order to crystallise regional development plans

When the northern region talks about groundnut pyramids and textile industries thriving etc, the region seems to conveniently forget the presence of colonial narrow gauge as a lever to the economic prowess of the time.
