Christo and Jean-Claude are 2 of my fav artists. The massive scale in which they work & such visual simplicity is stunning. They created monumental environmental art by wrapping famous landmarks in fabric. The L’Arc de Triomphe, Wrapped is still on track for 9/18-10/3.RIP Christo
Went to add the last batch of finished Kindness Rocks to the garden and found these rude weeds covering my students’ beautiful creations! No thank you. Took care of that problem ;)
A5: We are using newspaper boxes so parents can come pick up learning resources. Teachers are providing offline activities students can do. #AppleEDUchat
I LOVE art history & wanted to share this opportunity with you! Here are 13 museums that your family can check out together. I’ve been to quite a few of these places (1,2,5,6,11)*Make sure to view with an ADULT https://t.co/T9JwCYTkb1
Look what this sweet girl got Manni (our mannequin)! Thank you so much Camila (K) for thinking of him! He loves it! ❤️🎨🇲🇽 #bsesartstudio#AdventuresofManni#artroom
Cady (2nd) is working so hard at her tabby weave. Second grade is learning about 3 different weaving techniques before they choose their final weaving projects. 🧶 @MrsShaffer_Gr2
4th graders are working on an independent project where they had to include all 12 colors from our adv. color wheel in a surrounding. Cameron and Jake were both drawn towards outer space as their subject matter and are using new techniques to blend oil pastels! @MsThompson_BSES
I’ve really enjoyed this VIP treatment of getting read to and learning all of these interesting facts! The Great Molasses Flood of 1919...who knew?! And Mrs. Meckley’s 3rd graders loved giving me the quizzes from their books @KathleenMeckley
These 4th grade students are impressing me with their ability to challenge themselves and explore new materials. They are learning to think and act like artists and understand that sometimes things aren’t going to work...like, a lot of times actually. But to see their growth...😍
Aaliyah, Colton, and Kahden (K) are adding features to their mice. We read Mouse Paint by Ellen Stohl Walsh and learned about mixing colors and the color wheel. #colorwheel#bsesartstudio#elementaryart
