. @bsalumni Riya Kalhan is doing incredibly well with her singing career. She is performing in front of around 30,000 people at this year’s ‘The Hundred’ at Headingly Stadium on 22 August!
She is also performing at the Manchester International Festival… https://t.co/nVSXt7XtPT
Five of our students thoroughly enjoyed attending the Model UN conference @WGSManchester on Sunday. Issues debated included far right extremism, regulating of oil supplies, the education crisis post COVID 19, preparing for future epidemics and protecting endangered wildlife.
Had a fascinating twenty minutes at lunchtime looking at all the @BSGDArt work done by our GCSE and A Level entrants this year. Some truly exceptional work there and so interesting to see a different side of school life.
Absolutely, but also importantly, as the article goes on to discuss, extracurricular activities are a fantastic source of enjoyment, well-being and fun! Perfectly demonstrated in our production of Beauty and the Beast this week, but also true across the board in ECA.
Extracurricular activities equip pupils with the host of skills needed not just for school, but for all areas of their future lives too, says Jo Vila, Deputy Head of Co-curricular at Berkhamsted Schools Group, Hertfordshire. https://t.co/u0Uaob2X15

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Arts Centre this morning to see the junior school inquiry projects. I found out some fascinating facts and it was lovely to see how enthusiastic the children were when they were showing me their work.
There’s a real buzz in the upper hall of the Arts Centre today as Year 6 @BSPDJnrBoys and @BSPDJnrGirls share their learning with their peers and staff. A wonderful array of inquiry projects to see @rethinkassessmt@LucasLearn
Delighted to have raised funds for the haematology unit @BlueSkiesFund following on from @BoltonSchAlumni Rebecca Turner’s speech at the Alumni of the Year event, at which she won the Outstanding Achievement Award.
