Working with #BSGDGeography today on our #BSGDY7 “One Square Mile” display in Hesketh House - great to show off how our learning habits are being developed
Last Friday #BSGDY7 made another trip to @Skiptoncastle as well as the local museum and neighbouring Holy Trinity Church.
They shall now be presenting their ‘plans of attack’ in class.
A reminder that this Friday 28 March is the deadline for entries to our castle competition.
Today marks 110 years since the first OB was killed in action during WW1.
In 2014 #BoltonSch bought ceramic Tower of London Poppies for each of the OBs who gave their lives. Over the next 4 years we will commemorate them by adding the poppies to a display in the Riley Centre.

This week we have launched our annual #BSGDY7 castle building competition. Pupils in Year 7 should submit their entries to the department by Friday 28th March.
This half term is always ‘castles half term’ in Year 7 as we have our visit to Skipton coming up on Friday 21st March.
A wonderful (albeit chilly 🥶) morning at @HoghtonTower with Sixth Form historians, learning about its links with The Stuarts. Plus a few ghost stories for good measure #BSGDY12#BSGDY13
