22 girls from Big Spring have qualified for Regionals!! 18 equipped lifters, and for the first time ever in program history we have 4 girls who have qualified for Unequipped Regionals

Our powerlifting season ended with Three boys giving everything they possibly could at the Division 2 State meet last Friday. Two were coming off knee injuries and persevered and showed through hard work and dedication you can make a comeback. It was a pleasure to coach these

Our girls competed their tails off! I am happy to announce for the first time in our programs history, we have a State Champion! Results are as follows!

Liah Garza with a 1000lb total placed 4th in the state in the 242lb weight class!

Monse Holguin with a 665lb total placed 12th in the state in the 114 lb weight class!

Yvanka Martinez with a 690lb total placed 9th in the state in the 132lb weight class!

Quasett Woodruff with a 1140lb total is the 4A big School State Champion in the 242+ lb weight class!
