.Attorney General Brown (@OAGMaryland), is reform and transparency only appropriate when the police are involved? Where are the checks and balances on SB290, Mr. AG? Why isn't your office concerned about the integrity and credibility of its own attorneys? @MDStateFOP@GLFOP
Today @ColumbusPolice Chief Bryant invited @capcityfop to stand by her as she publicly supported her Officer. That level of support has not been seen in a long time and had a positive impact on all rank and file.
So we're clear @MarilynMosbyEsq, with the new SAO/PC policy of "least" intrusive policing, folks can now trespass at Camden Yds, M&T Stadium, the SA's office, & City Hall with impunity? Or openly snort cocaine during a City Council mtg without any real repercussions? What's next?
We have attempted for the past week to have this opinion piece published. With no success we decided to release it to those who follow us. Please spread the word. #keepmocopolice@MontCoExec@MoCoCouncilMD
I am disgusted by the vile remarks about removing the public memorial saluting Baltimore’s fallen police officers, which was funded and championed by their family members. My full statement:
Baltimore Firefighters Local 734 is appalled with the proposed financial cuts to our membership. Our members are on the front lines of this global pandemic. The benefits they have are the last thing that the city should be trying to take. @Local964Prez @IAFFTreg @MolotovFlicker
I'll take @GovLarryHogan perspective on MTP this AM over NYC Mayor's message any day of the week. Solutions > blame. Let's deal with the crisis now, put politics on the bench.
@DanRodricks I’m not gonna give up Dan, but we need to recognize the complexity of this violence reaches beyond soundbites from the pols. We can start by ending the attacks on @BaltimorePolice - we are NOT corrupt! And we need to start holding parents accountable and not the government.
In 4 years, one will be a lawyer, one will be a filmmaker (USC film grad) one will be an entrepreneur. Each Baltimore born & raised. When hard work, opportunity and talent intersect-barriers crumble. I pray 2020 provides the talent of our City more opportunity & less violence.
