At the MB policy meeting today, we decided to keep the interest rate on the BSP’s overnight reverse repurchase facility at 6.25 percent. The interest rates on the overnight deposit and lending facilities were thus retained at 5.75 percent and 6.75 percent, respectively.

Pleased to have unveiled the first set of our coin deposit machines at @SMSupermalls Mall of Asia and @RobinsonsMalls Ermita. By depositing idle coins into these machines, depositors can receive the corresponding value in their e-wallet or store vouchers that are as good as cash.

Beyond the cost-savings, these machines also serve the public’s broad interests and support #digitalization efforts.

FinEd is a strategic advocacy of the #BSP. By working with government and private sector partners, we hope to equip more Filipinos with the tools they need to make better financial choices and enjoy the fruits of economic progress. 5/5
