Our year 2 and 3 children had the opportunity to be part of a circus. We had loads of fun! All our growth mindset characters were at work with perseverance, independence, mistakes and challenges at different times as we juggled, balanced and performed.
Active Maths at work in Year 3 this week. We have been looking at units of time and timing each other to do different activities. We then went outside for some time problem solving through a scavenger hunt. Lots of fun and learning.
Today is Sports Day at Bramley St Peter’s. The children have been competing in different events. Lots of great sportsman ship and respect shown throughout. Super proud!!
This week has been a busy week sport wise for our children. We have had a sponsored penalty shoot out with LUFC, a fun run with year 6 and Bramley Olympics. Physical activity is important at BSP and we endeavour to give the children as many opportunities as possible.
Today we attend our annual Bramley Olympics competition against 8 other schools. The KS2 children took part in a range of track & field events & year 2 a multi skills carousel. Lots of fun, determination and physical activity undertaken & we came 2nd! Go BSP! @LeedsWellSchool
Today some of our KS2 children got to go to Elland Road to take part in an author day with Tom Palmer. The children did a literacy activity, got a tour of the stadium & media suite. The children had a fantastic day learning how English is used in sport and the media.
