Our City Hospital newborn hearing screening team is now up and running at MMUH, screening our first babies yesterday. If you had a baby on Wednesday (move day) and did not have a hearing check our team will be in touch to arrange an appointment.

The Maternity Department opens at Midland Met on Wednesday 6 November, at 7am. City Hospital Maternity Department closes to new admissions at the same time. Before this date, the Maternity Department remains open at City Hospital. More info here: https://t.co/CAAPCPPiD2
After over 20 years of providing Newborn hearing screening to babies born at City hospital today marks the last day on site. We will be resuming screening service at our new home, MMUH on Thursday 7th of November! #Moveday#MMUH
After 6 years as Deputy Head of Newborn Hearing Screening Birmingham and many more within the NHS we bid a fond farewell to Margaret who is heading off to enjoy her retirement. Congratulations and Enjoy!
We will be closed on Christmas Day but back on the wards on Boxing Day for screening babies hearing. Don’t worry if we miss you and baby, we will be in touch to arrange a clinic appointment for the screen.
