However, I could see property taxes being leveraged so the family can no longer afford to own the land and be forced to sell. Unfortunately, land rich doesn't always mean cash rich. They find a way one way or another.

@BJRains @TayBreezy101 Fair or not, I attribute most of that success to Degenhart. Credit for finding a diamond there, but players like him don't come along every day. I'm not a Rice hater, but I don't believe budget has been the problem. If you want to make the NIL case going forward I could buy that.

@BJRains @TayBreezy101 JD increased the spending for basketball adding more charter flights ect. I can't say the on court results have changed much. Boise State has always done more with less. At some point the money people have to see better results to keep throwing money at the program.

@BJRains Students showed up, but I'd estimate half bailed by the final minutes. Extremely frustrating in a close game. Boise State has to do more to keep them engaged and entertained. These students are potential future tickets purchasers. If they are bored now, they won't show up later.

@FormerRadioDude The cold was a big factor in both games today. So many drops by the Bears receivers. Caleb had a few bad plays, but he definitely could have used a bit more help from his receiving core.
