ADA has literally NOTHING built on it $56B cap
DOGE has literally NOTHING built on it $44B mkt cap
XRP has literally NOTHING built on it $48B mkt cap
BSV has everything built on it $3B mkt cap
Don’t say I didn't warn you. Opportunity of a lifetime.
@kraeol @Arnoud82585846@MyLegacyKit@Cypher437@danheld the marketprice moves a lot faster due to low liquidity. About 50-100x if not more as BTC becomes scarser as more people keep hodling it.
which is why it takes about a billion to drop the market by 50 - 100 billion.
A big airball
@Arnoud82585846@MyLegacyKit@Cypher437@danheld BTC has not proven itself to be a store of value and for it to be a store of value it would need to stand the test of time.
As you say Gold has proven to maintain value over thousands of years, to call BTC a store of value ten years in,is a plain lie to lure people in.
@Arnoud82585846@MyLegacyKit@Cypher437@danheld the numbers people like Arthur sells BTC as.
Also microstrategy was there in the .com bubble, a checkered past. These folks are in it for a quick buck, they know BTC is highly risky and not proven to be a store of value.
A house of cards waiting to collapse.
@Arnoud82585846@MyLegacyKit@Cypher437@danheld What Arthur fails to say is that the marketcap of BTC in reality is around 50-100x lower than people think it is.
For every dollar that goes into BTC the mcap moves between 50-100x and potentially far beyond that.
So the actual amount of money that went into BTC is nowhere near
@Arnoud82585846@MyLegacyKit@Cypher437@danheld your gold custodian example is not entirely similar as in Bitcoin (BSV)the trusted third party get’s removed and everyone can use it onchain, But yes in BTC the LN will act like the custodian of digital gold (which imo is not digital gold at all)
@Arnoud82585846@MyLegacyKit@Cypher437@danheld Bitcoin is a p2p electronic cash system see whitepaper title. To keep it simple there is BTC/BCH/BSV whatever people think Bitcoin is today. When Satoshi released it he clearly mentioned Bitcoin would be locked in, and the idea was it would not change

@Arnoud82585846@MyLegacyKit@Cypher437@danheld I think you are confusing Bitcoin with BTC, it may carry the name it may be the popular chain, but I can assure you it is no longer Bitcoin.

Bitcoin allows microtx and is better than Ethereum, scales, stops fraud
@Arnoud82585846@MyLegacyKit@Cypher437@danheld value property. Not speculation per se, but when the speculation is too far off the actual market price.
We have forgotten what true value is. It is the creation of goods and services...... that is what Bitcoin was originally designed to achieve. Offering new business models
@Arnoud82585846@MyLegacyKit@Cypher437@danheld So how much of Gold’s value is speculative. And how much is utility value.
Bitcoin if it was used as an underlying protocol like tcp/ip could be come a store of value. Backed by utility and as a dataledger.
But it seems to me that speculation takes away from the store of
@Arnoud82585846@MyLegacyKit@Cypher437@danheld A single source of truth, stopping accounting fraud.
For something to be a store of value one needs to be willing to contract in it, mind you gold despite it's underlying usecases is not really a store of value. It is mostly speculative as well. But lmk your thoughts
@Arnoud82585846@MyLegacyKit@Cypher437@danheld BTC has been altered over the years, despite Satoshi stating Bitcoin's rules to be locked in.
BTC is not a store of value correct, Bitcoin as it was previously designed removes thirdparties and allows small casual transactions that is the innovation as well as a dataledger
@yassineARK 4/x so in summary the world would be better off without the BITCOIN HIJACK called BTC.
Bitcoin is still out there as well as Satoshi, people are in for a rude awakening. Stop the BTC ponzi!
@yassineARK 3/x bad traders being screwed over by bucketshop exchanges/ https://t.co/BGq2aLDiXP traders in a game where most get fcked over!
Yet we call this innovation.....30$ tx fees, unscalable, and a LN that is unsafe, unscalable and unaffordable unless using third party networks
