This is the @BScFireRescue degree course run out of @wlv_uni A great qualification for those looking to get into the Fire Service or Serving Firefighter/Officers looking to enhance their career.
If I’m going to talk about equipment and tactics in the classroom it’s much better for the students to have first hand experience of what I’m talking about. @BScFireRescue@wlv_uni@artemistdl students using the gear, and we made them make it up.
First year students from @BScFireRescue@wlv_uni at the end of a session looking at methods employed in extinguishing fires in compartments. A bit damp but still happy.
We were contacted by @wlv_uni about ‘sharing your success story’ and this video features the BSc Fire and Rescue, and MSc Fire Scene Investigation courses.
Enjoy!

Did you know, last year, The University of Wolverhampton’s Fire and Rescue Degree Program has been given 100% by third year students in the 2017/18 National Students Survey?

@artemistdl And today one of their first graduates turned teacher when I took a first year class from the @BScFireRescue from @wlv_uni to his fire station where lectured them on firefighting techniques
One of my students hadn’t fallen asleep. We were doing a classroom exercise on witness information. I just needed a victim and he fit the bill. Split the class so half witnessed what happened and the other half had to interview them. Good exercise 👩🚒@BScFireRescue@wlv_uni
