@Femi_sorry Have you seen the state of most EU economies? 2016 it is not. The UK couldn’t rejoin as its government debt to GDP ratio doesn’t meet the EU’s criteria. We could always rejoin if the EU ignore it but that’s the mistake Greece made!

@lancelachlan Unfortunately it’s not 2016 and most EU countries are suffering stagflation. Have you seen the state of the French, Italian and even German economies? Membership would force the U.K. to take the € and ask a Greek how well that works for a service economy…
