Slight change to the roster, 47376 will be deputising for 47105 on Saturday 16th May in the purple TT, but both will be out as planned on Sunday on the pink TT.

Both of the Fund locos are scheduled to be out on Sunday 17th May on the Pink timetable with a mixture of top and tail and double heading. First train is 1020 from Toddington.

47105 meanwhile had a new seal on the crankcase door one side, not a job for the faint of heart!

Off season at the Gloucs Warks so the CM&EE has drawn up a list of jobs on the locos. 47376 had a brake block change yesterday and is having work on 3 of the cab seats which got stripped down, one of the bulkhead doors has also been removed for repainting.

As we end the year here is a vintage view of 47376 taken around June 1969, the location is a place called `The Halt` at Goldthorpe on the old Wakefield - Edlington line which served Goldthorpe Colliery. Picture by David Cooper.

The last workings of the season for 47376 are the 27th and 28th December on the Purple timetable. Please note the loco won’t be working on 3rd and 4th January 2026 as previously planned.
