@shadihamid@washingtonpost You can easily be a Muslim in America.
You just can’t be an American because political Islam is in direct conflict with western values.
You belong in a country where political Islam is accepted as a theory of government, but you don’t want to be there. That’s your problem.
Keely of course it’s about a better price for cattle. But that’s only part of the issue. It also about encouraging enough people to take the risk of investing time and talent into building this cowherd without fear of losing their investment to the indiscriminate whims of someone in an office 1000’s of miles away.
This has always been the greatest issue to me but most folks like the fear mongering of catastrophe over the duty and sacrifice of building something.
For the life of me I don’t understand why we are so concerned about affordability when no one cared when 10’s of 1000’s of farms and ranches have been lost and not replaced by more efficient operators but instead by foreign entities and globalist corporations who have exploited and pilfered our rural communities.
It’s time we stand up and say keep the border closed so my kids have a country and opportunity.
And I am not ashamed to say this all day long to anybody.
Try to hit singles and doubles.
You will be on base a lot, and sometimes you will hit one out.
This is much better than spending more of your time in the dugout.
Roping a whiteface Hereford steer in Freer, Texas, 1937. I've heard it said that there's nothing quite as wild as a wild Hereford, but I'm thinking that whoever said that never raised Bramhas. 😃 Note that both saddles are 'cutting saddles' not 'roping saddles, and there are no 'flank girths' on either saddle. I'm not sure it's a good idea to rope off cutting saddles, but these two cowboys don't seem to mind.

Oxford University researchers have discovered the densest element yet known to science...
The new element, Governmentium (symbol=Gv), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.
These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called pillocks.
Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert.
However, it can be detected because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact.
A tiny amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second, to take from 4 days to 4 years to complete.
Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2 to 6 years.
It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganisation in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.
In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganisation will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes.
This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration.
This hypothetical quantity is referred to as a critical morass.
When catalysed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium (symbol=Ad), an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium, since it has half as many pillocks but twice as many morons.
The spirit of Muad'Dib is more than words, more than the letter of the Law that arises from his name. Muad'Dib must always be that inner outrage against the complacently powerful, against the charlatans and the dogmatic fanatics.
