😈: wrt mining centralisation, understand that individual miners are still distributed globally, what you call as centralisation is just aggregate pool. Individual miners are free to move from pool to pool or solo mine.

💩🪙er: #Bitcoin mining is getting centralised due to its simple algo and it's wasteful. There is some thing better i.e. Proof of useful work or ASIC resistent algos that promote mining decentralisation.

😈: imagine due to some solar flare or something all miners are destroyed, I would prefer to have my money secured by simple sha 256 that runs on the most basic cpu than a specialised algo that only runs on special h/w.
