I rarely tweet but I thought I would take this opportunity to announce that I intend to resign from @BeaconsfieldFC at the end of the season. Thank you to every player to have worn the shirt for me. A new challenge needed.. @NonLeaguePaper
The full time whistle goes and the Rams have to settle for a point, in a game they were well on the way to winning before the referee’s antics. The players deserve credit, playing for themselves and the management.
POL 2-2 BEA
Beaconsfield make their final substitution. Kai Allsopp replacing Elliott Buchanan as we move into added time. You still feel the referee has finished with having an influence on the game.
POL 2-2 BEA
It feels like the referee has lost his head as Henry Hawkins picks up a yellow card for an innocuous foul. Also Elliott Buchanan is carded. It feels like game could be decided as much by the official as the players.
POL 2-2 BEA
Beaconsfield are forced into their second substitution. Kie Plumley replacing Aaron Minhas. The Rams have to play the last 15 minutes with ten men.
POL 1-2 BEA
The Rams hit the bar. A good move by Beaconsfield ends with Charlie Smith played into the box and his shot cannons back of the woodwork with the keeper beaten.
POL 0-2 BEA
The referee blows for half time with the Rams ahead. The two goal advantage at the break is a fair reflection of the first period. Goals from Elliott Buchanan and Nathan Minhas.
POL 0-2 BEA
Sam Granville gets booked but it seemed a fair challenge. It’s fair to say that Poole have enjoyed to lion’s share of the 50/50 decisions from the referee.
POL 0-2 BEA
Goal to Beaconsfield!
It’s been coming. After a period of possession around the Poole box, Kyel Reid crosses for Nathan Minhas to head home.
POL 0-2 BEA
The Rams should have a second. Nathan Minhas through on goal with just the keeper to beat but the home custodian pushes the Beaconsfield striker’s effort wide.
POL 0-1 BEA
